From Wilmington:
Head south on College Road towards Carolina/Kure Beaches.
Once over Snows Cut Bridge go to the third stoplight and take a right onto Dow Road (CVS on the corner).
Follow Dow Road for about 3 miles and the road will curve sharply to the left.
Immediately after the curve you will see Joe Eakes Park and the Barking Lot on your right.
Take a right on 7th Avenue and park anywhere in the gravel area.
If you walk between the basketball court and tennis courts you will see the entrance to the Barking Lot.
Enter the first gate and make sure it closes securely behind you. Unleash here and enter the second gate into the park.
